As an Operations Analyst at Norman Love Confections, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our production processes and improving efficiency throughout the chocolate manufacturing operation. Production Data Entry and Management:
- Accurately enter daily production activities into the MRP system.
- Clean up existing inaccuracies in production data and ensure ongoing data integrity.
- Implement measures to enhance traceability and process control within the production factory.
Procedure and Documentation Writing:
- Develop comprehensive written documentation outlining procedures for data entry, process control, and traceability.
- Regularly review and update documentation to reflect best practices and changes in processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and adherence to documented procedures.
Productivity Projects:
- Analyze current production limitations and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and execute a roadmap for increasing productivity within existing constraints.
- Lead productivity projects aimed at optimizing resource allocation and maximizing output.
Project Management:
- Coordinate and oversee the implementation of improvement projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational goals.
- Track project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively address issues to keep projects on track.
- Communicate project updates and outcomes to key stakeholders across departments.
Strategic Initiatives:
- Contribute to strategic planning efforts by providing insights and analysis related to production efficiency and capacity.
- Assist in identifying strategic opportunities for investment and resource allocation to drive long-term growth and profitability.
- Participate in cross-functional teams tasked with developing and executing strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
An ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or at least 4 years progressive job experience in related field.
Proven experience in operations analysis, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Strong proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively document procedures and communicate complex concepts.
Project management experience, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and deliver measurable results.
Knowledge of MRP systems and experience with data entry and management is preferred.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving innovation and achieving operational excellence.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $46,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
