What you will do with us:

Coordinates the development and implementation of the quality system, researching, developing and implementing process improvements necessary to eliminate waste and reduce inventory. Responsible for development of the performance metric system used to report on continuous process improvements.


  • Works independently with little supervision on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations. Normally receives no instruction on routine work and general instructions on new assignments.
  • Performs internal audits for processes and products to assure compliance to the documented quality system.
  • Coordinates the successful closure of all closed loop corrective actions concerning quality issues of products and processes.
  • Acts in a leadership role to provide manufacturing with the necessary tools, training, and guidance to continually improve product and process quality.

  • Tests, calibrates and repairs electrical, mechanical, electromechanical and electronic measuring, recording and indicating instruments for conformance to established standards as
  • Disassembles instruments and equipment and inspects components for defects and issues necessary repairs, maintenance and calibration.
  • Devises formulas to solve problems in measurements and calibrations as
  • Assists Engineering and Manufacturing in formulating test, calibration, repair and evaluation plans and procedures to maintain precision accuracy of measuring, recording and indicating instruments and equipment.
  • Knowledge of Aerospace or Medical Manufacturing is a plus.

What you will bring to Nortech:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
