NDDOT Starting Salary: $3,293 / month
Summary of Work
At the North Dakota Department of Transportation, we owe our success to our people and processes. As an administrative assistant in our Drivers License Division, you will be a supportive force and an integral team member, keeping office operations organized and efficient. The ideal person for this position will be a problem solver with excellent communication skills and impeccable attention to detail. They will have previous experience working in an office environment, performing administrative tasks, and providing support to coworkers. The ability to multitask, manage complex schedules, and meet changing deadlines is essential to the position. Your duties will include:
- Provide technical and administrative assistance to division managers and division personnel.
- Schedule rooms for meetings and enter work requests for facility management.
- Coordinate in and out oout-of-stateel including lodging and transportation.
- Serve as backup for mail and cash-receipting processes.
- Reconcile cash-receivable reports to meet audit standards.
- Serve as the division’s Records Management Coordinator.
- Coordinate forms inventory for the division.
- Assist with claims for payment, activity management, and medical statistic reports.
- Backup for supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires an associate degree with major coursework in office support or business or office education, and
- One year of experience performing a variety of office support, clerical, or secretarial work.
- Additional work experience performing office support, clerical, or secretarial duties may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Employment of the selected candidate will be contingent on satisfactorily completing the interview process, reference, and background checks.
