Staff Accountant - Exciting Opportunity in Hospitality Accounting

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage monthly financial statements and journal entries
- Handle property tax returns and transient tax filings
- Generate and oversee financial statements for multiple companies
- Perform regular balance sheet reconciliations
- Contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Lead audit preparations and tax work paper compilations
- Manage accounts payable across multiple properties
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 2 years of general ledger accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; knowledge of SAGE100 is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively
- Adept at managing pressure and meeting deadlines
*Preferred: Experience in the hospitality industry & Demonstrated track record of exceptional performance in previous roles
