We are seeking a dynamic Production Manager at our east Houston facility to lead our manufacturing team safely and efficiently to meet our customer demand.

We are seeking a dynamic Production Manager at our east Houston facility to lead our manufacturing team safely and efficiently to meet our customer demand.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive operational plans, strategies, and goals to optimize production processes and achieve targets
- Analyze production capacity, resources, and demand to ensure optimal utilization and efficient workflow
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction while maintaining quality standards
- Lead, motivate, and supervise employees, ensuring they are adequately trained, engaged, and aligned with company objectives
- Establish clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback, coaching, and support to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Monitor and evaluate production metrics, including output, cycle time, scrap, and downtime, implementing measures to improve productivity and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and implement quality control processes to minimize defects and maximize customer satisfaction
- Assist in leading the maintenance team to perform repairs and maintenance of buildings, machinery, and other assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement corrective actions
- Implement strategies to streamline supply chain processes and reduce lead times
- Champion a strong safety culture by enforcing compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and guidelines
- 5 years of experience in operations management within a CNC manufacturing environment
- Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Strong knowledge of production processes, continuous improvement practices, & quality control methodologies
- Proficiency with rolling, forming, and plate-cutting equipment is preferred
- Ability to use analytical thought processes and effective problem-solving skills to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks
- Experience with ERP systems & concepts
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, with emphasis on Microsoft Excel
- Associate’s degree in operations management, engineering, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Lean Six Sigma certifications are a plus
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- Ability to travel throughout production facilities as required.
