Position requires a high school diploma. One year of experience in office management, consumer scheduling, commercial insurance (Medicare/Medicaid/private insurance/etc.) and various daily clerical operations preferred. Position requires one (1) year of experience in the operation of a similar telephone system and intermediate data entry skills. Must display proficiency in the in the use of Microsoft Office software, or equivalent and intermediate general computer skills. Must be able to bend, stoop, climb stairs, move about facilities freely, must have upward and downward mobility for filing, and finger dexterity to operate office equipment. Must be able to sit for extended periods and have excellent speech and hearing to communicate with persons face-to-face and by telephone. Must be able to multi-task and stay organized while working with frequent interruptions. Must maintain an organized work area and must follow through on assigned tasks. Must possess and use daily professional communication skills, verbally and in writing. Must be able to comprehend and interpret verbal and written instructions. Must possess excellent customer service skills. Must complete yearly Core Level Co-occurring Training as provided and/or facilitated by NorthCare or ODMHSAS. Must complete trauma-informed training within first 90 days of employment at NorthCare. Must be COVID vaccinated and follow CDC guidelines regarding COVID vaccination and boosters.
