The Multicultural Outreach Team (MOT) is a multicultural, multilingual, specialized team that understands cultural transitions and provides quality behavioral and mental health services to individuals and their family. The services will help bridge the cultural generational gap with individualized services unique to each family.
The In-Home Therapist (IHT) will provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions in a client’s home for the purpose of treating a youth’s behavioral needs.
The In-Home Behavior Specialist (IHBS) will implement a behavioral assessment and develop a highly specific behavioral treatment plan in order to diminish, extinguish, or improve specific behaviors related to the client’s behavioral health condition(s). The IHBS will work closely with a Behavior Monitor who will help support the IHBS.
Qualifications / Responsibilities:
- Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese-Required
- Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, special education or related field
- One to two years minimum experience working with multicultural families
- One to two years minimum experience working with children, youth and families in a home or community setting preferred
- Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders or children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Training in Applied Behavioral Analysis is highly beneficial and desirable
- Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
