NGHS is currently seeking Patient Care Assistants to float at our NGMC Gainesville campus. Floating to other campuses may be included for future needs.
Available shifts: Days, Evenings, or Nights
Hours: Full Time (36 hours per week), Part time (24 hours per week), PRN (minimum 48 hours in a 6 week schedule)
Specialties: Medical, Surgical, Cardiac, and other inpatient units when necessary
Job Summary:
A non-licensed staff member who is trained to be flexible in a variety of duties. Assists the patient care technician with tasks including, but not limited to patient care, cleaning and stocking of patient’s rooms and other unit areas, Functions under the direct supervision of the shift primary nurse. Works in areas that provide care for patients in the adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups.
Minimum Qualifications:
This role will be utilized for on the job training for anyone wanting to obtain experience in the medical field
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
