We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to join our dynamic and collaborative team in Inverness, Florida, located in the beautiful Greater Tampa Bay area. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a recently renovated emergency department that prioritizes quality patient care and teamwork.
Our emergency department sees an annual volume of 45,000 patient visits and features 28 beds, including bariatric and private rooms. We use the Cerner EMR system to ensure efficient and accurate documentation. The department provides 36 hours of physician coverage and 40 hours of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage each day. You will be supported by a friendly and supportive nursing staff, and you will not need to handle trauma or OB/GYN cases. The pediatric volume is low, at only 6%, with a large adult and senior patient volume exhibiting high acuity. Additionally, you will have the support of an on-site hospitalist team and a Stroke Center currently implementing tele-neurology.

Qualifications
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Emergency Medicine (EM)
- Alternatively, Board-Certified in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM) with 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience
