Northeast Ohio Hospice is seeking a dedicated and compassionate STNA to join our hospice team. As an integral member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide personal care to patients facing end-of-life challenges and support their families during this sensitive time.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and ensures all care is provided with respect and dignity to patients and families.
- Observe, record, and report the patient’s care, symptoms, emotional and physical status.
- Assist with feeding as needed.
- Incidental household services, which are essential to the patient health care.
- Documents appropriately in electronic medical record (EMR) according to the patient’s plan of care and submit all documentation timely.
- Communicate effectively with patient/family, other healthcare professionals, including Northeast Ohio Hospice IDT.
Qualifications:
- Valid STNA certification in Ohio.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Minimum 1 year of STNA experience, preferably in hospice.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation, insured with Ohio requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
