What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technician position at Northeast PowerDry?
We are looking for a Water Restoration Technician whose responsibility will be to eliminate property damage that was caused by water or mold. The right candidate for this position will be reliable, customer focused and a great work ethic. We serve our customers during stressful points in their lives, so it is imperative that the candidate demonstrates a high level of professionalism with attention to detail. - Demolition, mitigation, and restoration of residential properties damaged by water and/or mold
- Ability to be part of a team, working alongside peers and managers to successfully complete mitigation jobs in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure that the project is completed in established timeframe and meets the customer’s satisfaction
- Ability to work with a wide assortment of tools as well as specialized drying equipment
- Comfortable working in confined areas such as crawlspaces and attics
- Able to follow directions given by Crew Chiefs
- Follow all established procedures and safety guidelines
- High School Diploma (GED) required
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to work overtime as needed and some holidays
- High level of listening skills and positive attitude
- Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
Background in plumbing, demolition, water/mold mitigation and/or carpentry is a plus but not required
Must be punctual and reliable
