About the Opportunity The HRIT Support Analyst works collaboratively with HR functional areas and college/division HR key contacts to research and resolve issues within the Workday HCM application, provides ongoing audits and system maintenance activities. The HRIT Support Analyst researches and troubleshoots system related problems, providing technical guidance and support to end users. Additional responsibilities include testing configuration changes and upgrades, support interfaces, proactively identify and resolve issues associated with data, ensures data and systems are secure, document HRIT processes/policies/workflow, provide systems training and customer service. This position is Eligible for Alternative Work Location including remote or hybrid work arrangements Responsibilities: 1) HRIT System Support Provides technical guidance, support and solutions for end users of the Workday HR System. Support all customers (faculty, staff, applicants, HR functions) by troubleshooting and resolving any system issues and problems – respond to customers quickly and accurately. Collaborates with Business Systems Analysts to resolve complex system issues. Track, triage and manage all tickets using ServiceNow. Execute tasks & activities to support cyclical system administration including system maintenance, audits, calendar year end, merit planning and fiscal year end. Continually evaluate ways to use technology to automate manual HR processes and improve HR functionality. Assist in the evaluation, functional review and specification and implementation of new features/functionality within the HRIT systems. Assist in the upgrade or patches of systems, including specification creation, testing and training. Identify and document technically-based process improvements that leverage technology and reduce manual efforts. Assist in the training and documentation to support user needs. 2) Reporting Provide ad-hoc queries using Workday reporting and SQL Developer to HR and other users. Serve as a resource to HR staff to run reports. Assist in the training and documentation to support user needs. 3) Data Integrity & Security Participates in efforts to manage data audits and reconciles HR data integration issues, including coordination with Office of Institutional Research and Decision Support, to enhance overall data integrity levels. Creates and acts upon audit queries to ensure the integrity of data in all HR Systems. Works with HR and key contacts in the colleges and divisions to help proactively identify and resolve issues associated with data. Serves as a contact with IT to resolve issues, the use of consistent data definitions and to research and offer solutions on all HR system related problems. Assists in the review and/or testing of configuration, interfaces, and reports to ensure accuracy. Documents all data audits, definitions, and data recommendations. Ensures appropriateness and maintains application security access. Manages security audits. 4) Training/Communications Develop/Update training materials and train users on HR Systems. Develop/Update training materials and train users reporting tools. Develop course content and train users as requested Assist in the creation and delivery of communications to key users, HR, faculty and staff. Qualifications: Knowledge of the evaluation, selection, design, development, implementation, testing, documentation, maintenance and upgrading of HR software applications for the organization. Proficiency with data management, applications, test plans, test cases, systems change, and Excel. Skills required include organizational, written/verbal communications, interpersonal, time management, analytical and attention to detail. Knowledge and skills required for this role are normally acquired through a bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Computer Science, General Business, Psychology, Management, Philosophy, Marketing and at least 3-5 years of related experience (systems and/or HR systems), Workday experience required.
