What You’ll Do
- Work closely with the marketing team, project managers and firm management to develop deadline-sensitive deliverables such as response to RFPs, proposals, marketing packages, and presentations
- Organize and maintain marketing files including relevant architectural drawings, data, proposals, and supporting collateral
- Review and extrapolate key proposal criteria, determine deadlines and begin gathering required data from appropriate teams
- Write, edit, and compile content from various sources into cohesive product by maintaining standards for branding, readability, consistency, and tone
- Serve as a proposal lead by autonomously managing the end-to-end process, which includes setting calendar reminders for deadlines, data collection, follow up communication with relevant team members, copyediting, and redlining documentation
- Facilitate proposal review, ensure edits are incorporated, and manage final proposal deliverables
- Track market activity, building tours, and proposal data in Salesforce
- Organize, schedule, and attend weekly conference calls with national brokerage teams, proposal meetings and corresponding lease calls
- Coordinate and manage business development site plan requests and final presentations
- Assist with updating marketing collateral as projects are leased or updated
- Schedule and host broker events for respective markets with the help of the Industrial Marketing team

Who You Are
- Excellent writing skills are critical for this position. Strong proofreading skills with a demonstrated ability to recognize proper use of grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Demonstrated advanced skill with MS Office Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets. Advanced Word skills such as tracking changes and utilizing macros a plus
- Previous business, proposal/marketing writing experience; ability to create continuity and consistency with the content when information is provided by multiple sources
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple requests and obligations to facilitate a smooth, organized workflow; ability to determine urgency of issues
- Ability to think independently and analytically and make recommendations accordingly
- Must be able to interact with all levels and disciplines of employees and develop relationships to assist in managing the requirements of the job.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, marketing, journalism, communication or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of experience directly writing in a professional business setting; experience working in A/E (architect and engineer), construction, legal, leasing, or brokerage industry preferred
- 1-3 years of marketing experience preferred
