Human Resources Director
Department: Administration Supervisor: Executive Director Exempt/Nonexempt: Exempt
Overview: This full time exempt-level position provides Human Resources Generalist support, including payroll, benefits and recruitment management, as well as the ongoing support and development of a quality workforce.
Qualifications: Post-secondary education, preferably with an emphasis in Human Resources Management or Business, and/or a minimum of 2 years’ broad HR experience. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or CPP would be a plus. Computer literacy with Microsoft products as well as HRIS advanced user skills; Paycom experience much preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities: Duties are determined by the Company’s needs and may include, but are not limited to, the following,
Manages and processes semi-monthly payroll
Assists with the development and implementation of services, policies and programs for staff
Assists facility directors and staff with all Human Resources related issues
Manages the recruiting and staffing function
Maintains facility online education system (CE Solutions)
Prepares, communicates and monitors the performance evaluation process for employees
Processes FMLA and other leaves of absence requests, including ADA accommodations
Administers employee benefits plans; reviews monthly billings for accuracy
Planning and Time Utilization:
Demonstrate the ability to set and establish priorities, manage time efficiently
Must be able to work under pressure and with interruptions
Ability to take initiative, be self-motivated and be an independent, accountable, dependable performer
May be required to work occasional extended hours, rotating holidays and weekends with management team members
