What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dining Room Manager position at Northside Grill Inc?
Come and work for Ann Arbor's Best Breakfast Restaurant in a fast paced, neighborhood restaurant. We are open 7 days a week for 7am to 3pm (no nights!), working Friday, Saturday and Sunday a must, but you decide the rest of your schedule. Starting pay is $21/hour plus bonuses. It is a 40/hour, 5 days a week position with 12 days vacation a year, 3 sick days a year. Gross pay is around $50K a year. You will be paid overtime for any work over 45 hours a week and on holidays. You get a free meal and paid meal break with every shift.
You will be working directly with the owner and Kitchen manager, no corporation dictating policies from a remote office. The owner will cover the 2 days you have off if you do not have the staff to do it.
You will be responsible for all front of house functions: Hiring, firing and scheduling FOH staff, money handling and daily cash reconciling. And, most importantly, you will interact with the customer to create a positive customer experience.
