What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operator position at Northstar Memorial Group, LLC?
NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking an Engraving Operator to join our team at Eternal Light Memorial Gardens. Being apart of the Engraving team at Eternal Light allows our team members to find solace and inspiration in the sacred duty assisting families with their lasting legacy’s set in stone, ensuring that every family's unique experience and emotion is honored.
Responsibilities
- Assist with picking up and installing granite memorials on the ground and in the mausoleum areas with the use of heavy equipment (tractor, backhoe, JD Gator, mausoleum lift)
- Assist with memorial related service requests
- Prepare granite before and after the sandblasting process
- Clean surfaces
- Inspect granite for defects
- Apply and remove stencils
- Apply and remove lithochromatic
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Heavy Equipment operator knowledge is a plus, but willing to train
- Ability to read / write fluently in English
