DEVELOPER

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Developer’s primary responsibility is to provide oversight, knowledge, and expertise to help Northview Church create, curate and maintain accurate and efficient data utilizing the database, dashboard, and other digital resources. This position is an Exempt Full-time position in the Communications Ministry and reports to the Marketing Director.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Gives ministry away
• Provides technical knowledge of database development, app development, APIs and content delivery, and other areas of back-end development
• Helps to build, migrate and maintain Northview's church database system
• Provides in-depth access and analysis to all data collected at Northview Church and displays it in an easy-to-read format for non-technical staff and volunteers
• Contributes high-quality code to digital development projects
• Shows commitment to Cultural Values
• Responds to emails and voicemails within 24 hours
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor
• Works with ministries to provide technical solutions for their needs
• Continues to stay up to date with new Rock RMS features and technologies
• Oversees Rock RMS; setting up new features and systems for staff use

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and three to five years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Related experience would be in software development, web development, and software engineering.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in ASP.Net webforms using C#, have used Entity Framework and SQL Server and are familiar with front-end development using CSS, Less, jQuery & Bootstrap.
