Oversees the provision of counsel and guidance on issues relevant to employee and department goals and objectives. Leads and supports efforts to increase employee and member satisfaction, as well as the overall strength of the workplace
Job Responsibility
- Manages operational projects and initiates to increase employee engagement and patient satisfaction; serves as key participant in creating, planning, and implementing strategic initiatives with accountability for the effectiveness of programs and processes.
- Develops, communicates, and builds consensus for goals in alignment with the health system.
- Uses skills and advanced technical experience to provide strategic guidance to functional areas.
- Ensures that departments are aware of existing corporate communication initiatives; assists in gathering data to ensure site compliance in various areas.
- Serves as a key change leader and champion of organization culture and values.
- Provides consultation and coaching to department heads regarding HR and business issues from a strategic standpoint to include coaching on effectively leading teams, navigating and resolving employee relations issues and managing talent development programs; makes recommendations to meet department needs and mitigate potential risks.
- Works with senior executives to develop and drive system-wide functional strategies across and implemented by Human Resources
- In union facilities, prepares documentation for and participates in arbitration hearings and contract negotiations; recommends strategies for strike planning and preventative labor relations.
- Monitors implementation of policies concerning wages, hours, and working conditions, to ensure compliance with terms of labor contract.
- Furnishes information for use in review of current initiatives and proposed changes.
- Works independently as a subject matter expert but may collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality HR services to the business; partners with Corporate and Shared Services to drive people development and results oriented performance.

Job Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
- 10 years of technical experience preferred, with 2 years of leadership experience preferred
- Additional Salary Detail
Salary : $112,800 - $197,200
