The Compensation and Leaves Manager plays an important role in overseeing Northwest Center's Compensation strategy & Leaves across our Social Enterprise. Additionally, this position will be responsible for staying on top of changing regulations and trends, as we are continually striving to offer best-in-class total rewards. Location: Renton, WA (Hybrid role!)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Essential Duties:
- Manage, develop and administer leaves across divisions of NWC
- Maintain all leave policies, practices and procedures to ensure that they are updated an in compliance with federal, state and local laws
- Determine FMLA, WAPFML, HRC and all applicable leave eligibility per federal, state, local and company guidelines
- Partner with leadership to develop and maintain divisional compensation structures including annual compensation planning policy
- Obtain and analyze market data to ensure the competitiveness of total rewards programs and make recommendations, as needed
- Research program design and industry best practices to guide development of compensation strategy, policies, plans and programs
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of Leaves experience, including hands-on administration
- 2 years of compensation experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, previous experience in benefits administration and SPHR, or PHR designation is preferred
- Current knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations pertaining to leaves and wage requirements
- Demonstrated capability to train, mentor, and develop others
