Th.D. Program Coordinator (Bilingual)
Description of Position
The Th.D. Program Coordinator fulfills a very important task of helping our Spanish Th.D. faculty and students navigate all of the NNU systems and processes where those offices do not yet have capacity to assist Spanish speakers. This is a part-time, 12-month, non-exempt position and will report to the Th.D. Director. This position may move to full time if NNU and the College of Theology and Christian Ministries (CTCM) decide to expand the program in English.
Essential Functions
- Assists in the marketing of the Th.D. program in coordination with the Th.D. director and the marketing department (including web materials).
- Assists students in the admissions and registration processes.
- Works with the office of Financial Aid to ensure compliance with Federal Financial Guidelines.
- Works with students as they enroll and navigate through their courses.
- Assists the Th.D. Director in developing and maintaining program materials.
- Maintains current contact lists of all potential Th.D. students and sends group emails on behalf of CTCM faculty and programs.
- Updates and maintains current Th.D. information in the catalog and website.
- Assists all faculty (especially adjuncts) with textbook ordering, grants, and purchase orders.
- Coordinates application process for Th.D. adjunct professors.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-4 Years of experience in an administrative role
Compensation
Salary will be determined by the educational background and experience.
