HOUSE SUPERVISOR (RN)
**This position is eligible for a $2000 sign-on bonus**
Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Shift - RN House Supervisor to lead our Inpatient Unit!
This position is two 12-hour, night shifts a week!
Under the supervision of the Inpatient Manager, the House Supervisor will assume responsibility for administrative oversight throughout the night shift. Under administrative direction, assumes responsibility for supervision of hospital services and patient care for a specific period of time. The House Supervisor holds responsibility for translating administrative concepts and goals into concrete activities. The House Supervisor is accountable to the Nurse Manager for Department of Nursing Services, the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), Hospital Administration, the Patient and his/her family. Duties will include supervising nursing staff, reporting any issues that may arise during shifts to managers, and liaising with patients, families and medical professionals to ensure high quality, safe patient care.
The House Supervisor possesses extensive experience in supervising nursing staff and the ability to ensure a high level of patient care. Accomplished candidates possess excellent administrative skills and demonstrate a collaborative approach.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Intermediate computer proficiency is required; Demonstrates use of software programs such as Microsoft Office, electronic mail, and Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred
- 4 years of nursing experience
- Nursing leadership or management experience is required
- Current RN licensure in the State of Idaho is required
- BLS Certification
- ACLS & PALS Certifications to be obtained within 6 months
