The Dealer Sales Representative III is required to meet sales goals and travel demands while also participating in networking opportunities that involve dealerships. The Dealer Sales Representative III is also responsible to frequently communicate with Indirect Lending Manager regarding volume and areas of concern while also; staying abreast of competitive intelligence, understanding competitor programs' strengths and weaknesses . product effectiveness and soliciting dealer customer feedback.

Essential Functions
  • Establish and solicit prospect lists with managers
  • Cold call and develop prospects for offices
  • Provide assistance with dealer product financing
  • Assisting with the preparation of dealer agreements
  • Review plan progress with dealers, and dealer finance plans with Corp SVP Dealer Services and the Regional Dealer Services Manager
  • Assist dealers with each operating agreement
  • Provide documentation in support of the sales process
  • Train dealers to use finance process
  • Follow up to ensure excellent dealer and office communication
  • Ensure compliance with Northwest policies and procedures, Federal/State regulations, and total document and data integrity
  • Check loan documentation for completeness
  • Ensure dealer files are updated, sales calls and following up calls are completed
  • Arrange point of sale materials
  • Provide monthly dealer call reports
  • Review and maintain operations manual policy as necessary, and requested dealer changes or adjustments
  • Maximize technology tools available
  • Compile monthly office logs/reports
  • Retain sales records as appropriate
  • Initiate and maintain regular sales calling program
  • Be involved in the handling of all aspects of the dealer relationship, including assistance in funding and documentation issues, fair lending education and training, intervening in customer related issues and the collection of dealer repurchase issues, plus any other department assistance that is required
  • Work management to improve office sales procedures
  • Recommend fee-generating alternatives
  • Ensure compliance with Northwest’s policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations
  • Navigate Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department in order to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency
  • Work as part of a team
  • Work with on-site equipment

  • Complete special projects as necessary

  • Perform work tasks in a safe manner
  • Report any and all injuries to supervisor
  • Know what to do in case of an emergency

Education

Bachelor's Degree in business related subject preferred

Work Experience

8 - 12 years indirect dealer relations, management and sales related experience preferred
