Financial Assistant
Fast-paced Financial Advisor’s team is looking to add a full-time, Financial Assistant. The Financial Assistant focuses on generating sufficient appointments to keep the financial representative in constant selling situations and providing administrative support to the representative and team.
Financial services and insurance knowledge is preferred. Candidates not holding a Montana Life & Health license must be willing to obtain them within 6 months.
Compensation is dependent on experience. The hourly range starts at $20 per hour plus discretionary bonuses. Benefits are available include health insurance, paid time off, long term disability insurance and the ability to fund a Simple IRA.
General responsibilities include: maintain FR’s calendar, schedule appointments, insurance client onboarding and ongoing service to existing clients, and assist representative and team with additional administrative tasks.
Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Job Duties:
- Telephone clients, prospects and centers of influence for appointments and networking opportunities.
- Generate feed lists for referral prospecting.
- Onboard and service new risk clients including applications, underwriting, post approval, and ongoing service questions.
- Prepare illustrations, PPA/PX, and additional case prep as need for FR meetings.
- Maintain financial representative’s calendar and schedule follow-up appointments. Answer and direct telephone calls as appropriate.
- Maintain client information database with updated contact information.
- Maintain electronic client case files. File new statements, account forms and other insurance/investment-related materials.
Qualifications:
· Financial Service or Insurance industry experience preferred.
· Superior interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Ability to establish instant credibility with clients and prospects.
· Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
· Superior written and oral communication skills.
· Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
· Ability to proactively identify what needs to be accomplished and take action as appropriate.
· Ability to work both independently and in a team.
· Familiarity with Microsoft applications and data entry and information retrieval software.
