Responsibilities
The Systems Architect is accountable for strategic and tactical planning, project management, capital deployment and acquisition, vision, forecasting, and complex design. This individual serves Information Services and its customers by providing systems best practices, systems solution architecture, value-add technologies, process engineering, and systems quality assurance. This individual will interface directly with customers, external partners, internal team members, and decision makers. This individual will define and govern standards and policy and procedure within the Norton systems enterprise. The Systems Architect must work closely with other groups and IS teammates within IS Technical Services to ensure these core aspects are fully interoperable within the other Technical Services group goals, fundamentals, and capabilities. The Systems Architect will actively lead design and architecture within technologies that include, but not limited to, Microsoft Server, Linux Red Hat, Unix AIX, VMWare, Citrix XenApp, Citrix XenServer, Netscaler, Messaging, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, automation, and IBM x86 and blade servers.
Qualifications
- Five years enterprise Server Support, Design, or Analysis
- Bachelor Degree
- One of: MCITP or MCSE or RHCA or VCP
- Master Degree
- Project Management Professional
