SUMMARY:
The housekeeper ensures the facility stays clean and sanitary for all of the residents and staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures all operational and safety procedures are properly followed.
- Accomplishes all daily tasks including laundry, sweeping, moping, trash, etc.
- Communicates effectively any issues that may come up throughout the day.
- Meets goals of production.
- Reports to the manager any cleaning products or supplies that are running low.
- Other duties as assigned or required.

Experience and Education:
- High school diploma or GED diploma.
- Previous cleaning experience in a nursing home or hospital setting preferred.
Work Environment
This job operates in a health care setting. This role requires regular walking to various locations around the facility. This role also routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
