What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cake Baker position at Nothing Bundt Cakes?
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake cakes to Nothing Bundt Cakes standards.
- Follow recipes and ensure consistency in product quality and taste
- Frost cakes according to customer requests.
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure proper baking.
- Maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies.
- Clean and sanitize work area and equipment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a baker in a restaurant or bakery setting is helpful.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils, including knives and mixers.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with customers placing special orders or requesting information about our cakes.
- Strong culinary skills to create delicious and visually appealing cakes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines is a must.
- Knowledge of food production techniques and ability to work with large quantities of ingredients.
