This leadership position is responsible to for the oversite and management of the Housekeeping and Laundry Department within our du Lac Assisted Living including supervision and training of staff, department scheduling.
cleaning and sanitation of all facility areas and will serve as a member of the du Lac Assisted Living management team. This position also oversees and assists in ongoing development of the standard of operation relating to cleaning processes while ensuring that cleanliness meets NDHC's high standards.
The position requires inspections of rooms on a regular basis and facilitates feedback to associates on the quality of cleaning provided.

Requirements :
- Minimum 5 years' experience in housekeeping and / or laundry required.
- Minimum 1-2 years supervisor experience required including department scheduling, supervision and department training / oversite experience required, preferably within an assisted living, skilled nursing, or healthcare facility.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead a team and manage conflict required.
- This position is expected to work weekends if / when scheduling demands require.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Email / Outlook, scheduling sheets) required.
- Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, linguistic, ethnic backgrounds and disabilities of staff and residents.
- Must be highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Must be flexible in hours and days available to work.
Compensation details : 20-28 Hourly Wage
