Automotive Lot Technician (Chillicothe, OH):

This position is full-time, and applicants MUST HAVE a clean driving record and be insurable by our corporate insurance underwriter.

Nourse Automotive is currently seeking a Lot Technician to support our sales and service operations. Our Lot Technicians are responsible for cleaning and safely moving vehicles to and from the appropriate lot, and possibly our other locations in the area. Lot Technicians will enter and exit multiple vehicles on a daily basis, both new and used, which necessitates a strong attention to detail. A well-maintained appearance, workstation cleanliness and strong work ethic are required, because the lot technicians will be visible to customers during their shift.

Responsibilities Include:

• Washing/Drying Vehicle Exteriors
• Sweeping Vehicle Interiors
• Manicuring Showroom Vehicles
• Grounds Keeping, i.e. trash removal/lot debris removal
• Daily sweeping/mopping service write-up areas and vehicle lanes
• Perform other duties of a similar nature as may be required
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Must be insurable and possess a valid Driver’s License
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills in order to interact effectively with dealership personnel and follow directions precisely
• Operate all vehicles in a safe manner and in compliance with all applicable company policies and procedures, traffic laws and regulations
• Observe rules of the road and demonstrate courtesy and defensive driving techniques
• Work effectively in a team atmosphere
• Vision abilities required. Close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
