Utility Worker
Nouryon has an outstanding opportunity for a Utility Worker/Laborer in Chattanooga, TN. This position reports to the operations supervision and performs a variety of duties in the production facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a variety of task including among others the following;
Prepares, fills, and warehouses containers of product both incoming and outgoing.
Drives fork truck when necessary.
Loads and unloads trucks and railcars.
Performs janitorial work when necessary.
Assembles, marks, and labels containers for shipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Basic math, reading, computer, and communication skills.
Commitment to health, safety, environment, security, and quality.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Employee must be able to work in plant environments.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Plant, Warehouse
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
