What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Specialist position at NOV?
This position has the overall responsibility to support a portfolio of customers. Supporting customers in the areas of custom inquiries, order entry, order acknowledgement and follow-up and other duties assigned to role. The Account Specialist shall in general act according to the instructions and authorities given by the team lead, in line with the guidelines identified below:
- Supports assigned customers to ensure documentation and submittals or accurate execution.
- Responsible for servicing portfolio of customers with new orders, request, complaints etc
- Collaborate with other departments (Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing etc) as required to address customer issues and needs.
- This person will be responsible for ensuring that all department processes and guidelines are adhered to (commercial/technical).
- Assist in updates and development of process improvements.
- Collaborate with national team to improve operating policies to mitigate risk.
- Participate in the bid/budget/planning preparation processes related to sales support and proposals, as required.
