PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment and facilities.
• Perform adjustment of repair of items as required.
• Perform preventive maintenance duties that detect early signs of failure or maladjustment.
• Communicate and listen to operators, vendors, and other maintenance personnel to ensure the production readiness of machines.
• Work from machine design drawings, specifications, and handbooks.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify proper documents and other safety and compliance requirements are met prior to the start of work.
• Perform routine maintenance on all machine tools, furnaces, ovens, and wax presses.
• Complete and verify critical equipment maintenance every day.
• Operate forklift and lifting devices for the movement of parts and troubleshoot forklift and lifting devices in the event of failure.
• Communicate with supervisor and other facility employees as it relates to the job.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance functions on tools and equipment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance role is required.
• Working knowledge of electrical, electronic, power, hydraulic and pneumatic systems required.
• Basic computer skills, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel required.
• Knowledge of reading equipment drawings and specifications.
• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English (both written and oral) as it relates to the job.
• Must possess basic math skills to include, but are not limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Overtime may be required during weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Shift schedule may change as needed to accomplish repairs.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
• Will be required to adhere and comply with ISO regulations, OSHA regulations, Quality Management System, company policies, and safety and environmental regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment: 5 years (Preferred)
