Nova 401(k) Associates is a rapidly growing national third party consulting firm providing administrative services to companies sponsoring 401(k), pension and other qualified retirement plans. We have a nationally recognized sales team allowing us to grow in excess of 20% per year providing advancement opportunities for our professionals.
We are looking to fill entry level positions in our Scottsdale, Arizona office. Although welcome, industry experience is not necessary and paid training will be provided. Candidates will also be required to successfully complete the ASPPA RPF and QKA exams within 2 years of their hire date. For additional information, please visit ASPPA's website at www.asppa.org.
Job Responsibilities after training period:
- Preparation of plan documents for 401(k) and profit sharing plans, defined benefit plans, cash balance plans, 403(b) plans, and 457 plans
- Preparation of amendments and resolutions
- Understand and manage workload for document execution and annual notice deadlines
- Be familiar with required plan document restatement cycles
- Pursue and attain ASPPA RPF 1& 2 Exams and QKA credential
- Provide support and consultation about plan provisions, documents, and amendments to Account Managers
- Perform other related duties as required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required with minimum GPA of 3.0
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Committed to lifelong learning
- Flexibility, adaptability and excellent multi-tasking skills
- Work experience in an office setting a plus
- Prior experience working with clients is a plus
- Coachable and committed to professional development
