Purchasing Coordinator
Type: Full-Time
Rate of Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 Per Hour
Expected Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Position Overview: As a Purchaser Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the smooth functioning of our supply chain and order management processes. Working closely with our Supply Chain Purchaser, you will be responsible for executing and overseeing various aspects of the purchasing platform that we utilize, Order.co, by tracking shipments, managing resource levels, and integrating with retail to ensure efficient operations across our production facilities in four states.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct the tracking and delivery of shipments, as well as returns, under the guidance of the Supply Chain Purchaser.
- Work closely with Supply Chain Purchaser to ensure accurate and timely shipment management.
- Update product lists and items in Order.co to reflect current purchasing needs.
- Identify and assist in resolving order issues to ensure seamless transactions.
- Provide user education and assistance in Order.co operations.
- Approve orders in order.co per established procedures.
- Regularly check in with production facilities across all four states to monitor resource levels.
- Conduct on-site inventory level checks to maintain accurate records.
- Notify the Supply Chain Purchaser when resource levels are below the required standards.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Purchaser to identify par levels based on seasonal lead times and production quotas.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Purchaser to integrate with retail operations for tracking ancillary and supply levels.
- Execute purchases for non-supply chain-related orders, such as service and maintenance orders, under the Supply Chain Purchaser’s guidance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in non-supply chain-related purchasing.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in supply chain management or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Familiarity with Google Sheets or Excel.
- Training experience.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with Order.co or similar order management systems is a plus.
