8th General Renal/Med Surg and Limb Preservation is a 41-bed nursing unit, specializes in patients with Renal, AKI to ESRD and Limb Preservation. Measures taken to salvage lower extremities-vascular surgery, diabetic foot infection, and Charcot foot with a LOS of approximately 6 days. Only dedicated limb preservation unit in the southeast US. We have an amazing interdisciplinary team that includes Physicians, Dieticians, Social Workers, Clerical and Support staff which empowers us as a unit to provide a remarkable experience for those we care for. 8th Renal and Limb preservation fosters a just culture environment and opportunity to grow as a professional in healthcare.

- Education: Bachelor's degree (Preferred). Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required). If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
- Experience: One year relevant experience (Preferred).
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current RN licensure in appropriate state (Required). BLS Healthcare Provider (Required). ACLS, PALS (Preferred).
