As an Assembly/Clean Room Supervisor, you'll provide first-level people leadership in a frontline setting. You’ll coordinate and supervise the daily activities of a team. You’ll ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively within established guidelines. You will be accountable for achieving high quality standards and efficient production processes.
Responsibilities:
- Guiding, coordinating, and evaluating the team’s work to achieve manufacturing assembly goals in the Clean Room.
- Communicating expectations and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively within established guidelines and procedures.
- Identifying areas of improvement and implementing effective solutions.
- Maintaining a positive and productive work environment that encourages innovation and growth.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Leading team’s collaborative participation with Quality, Supply Chain, R&D and Engineering on new product introductions (NPIs) in the clean room space, supporting pilot and production trial runs.
- Performing and tracking Preventive Maintenance and clean room testing/monitoring activities (i.e., particle count measurements, etc.).
Requirements:
- Be knowledgeable about production processes, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma and 5S environments.
- Fundamental understanding of clean room functionality with active clean room work experience, specifically class ISO 7 and ESD requirements and ISO (9001 and/or 13485) certified environment.
- Experience in risk analysis, mitigation and problem solving, with a focus in contamination control processes.
- Effective employee management skills including dealing with difficult employee situations and providing constructive feedback. Ability to lead, coach, counsel and encourage subordinates.
- Ability to multitask and willingness to learn.
- Have the ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary
