Job Description
NAOVI is seeking a Journeyman Security Administrator to support the following government task:
Primary responsibilities:
- Executes administration and coordination of ODNI security and security education programs to ensure compliance with Intelligence and ODNI security policies and procedures with minimal supervision.
- Provides guidance and support to staff members concerning all security administrative functions such as personnel security, information and system security, COMSEC, physical security to ensure compliance with standards.
- Provides administrative security support associated with the receipt, distribution, inventory, reproduction and disposition of classified material.
- Reviews applications for security clearances and clearance renewals.
- Administers and maintains physical security procedures for visitor control, employee identification and safeguard of company facilities, equipment, materials and employee property.
- Develops and conducts security briefings and security education programs.
- Provides oversight for programs for the protection of classified information as well as propriety information. Supervises preparation, transmittal, and receipt of visitor certifications.
- Investigates losses and security violations and recommends corrective actions.
- Manages the continuing eligibility program for personnel using e-QIP, Scattered Castles, and DISS (Defense Information System for Security).
- Periodically inspects the facility to ensure physical security measures.
- Contributes to development, review, and disposition of standing operating procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, cyber security, or a related field.
- Advanced training certifications may be advantageous.
- A strong understanding and knowledge of computer, network, and security systems.
- Good teaching, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- 9 years experience in the relevant field.
- Intelligence Community (IC) experience with design, web development, testing and working within the Intelligence Community.
- Security Clearance: MUST Currently Possess an ACTIVE TS/SCI w/CI polygraph for consideration. No clearance sponsorships.
