Job Description         

NAOVI is seeking a Journeyman Security Administrator to support the following government task:

Primary responsibilities:

• Executes administration and coordination of ODNI security and security education programs to ensure compliance with Intelligence and ODNI security policies and procedures with minimal supervision. 
• Provides guidance and support to staff members concerning all security administrative functions such as personnel security, information and system security, COMSEC, physical security to ensure compliance with standards. 
• Provides administrative security support associated with the receipt, distribution, inventory, reproduction and disposition of classified material. 
• Reviews applications for security clearances and clearance renewals. 
• Administers and maintains physical security procedures for visitor control, employee identification and safeguard of company facilities, equipment, materials and employee property. 
• Develops and conducts security briefings and security education programs. 
• Provides oversight for programs for the protection of classified information as well as propriety information. Supervises preparation, transmittal, and receipt of visitor certifications. 
• Investigates losses and security violations and recommends corrective actions.  
• Manages the continuing eligibility program for personnel using e-QIP, Scattered Castles, and DISS (Defense Information System for Security). 
• Periodically inspects the facility to ensure physical security measures. 
• Contributes to development, review, and disposition of standing operating procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, cyber security, or a related field.
• Advanced training certifications may be advantageous.
• A strong understanding and knowledge of computer, network, and security systems.
• Good teaching, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• 9 years’ experience in the relevant field.
• Intelligence Community (IC) experience with design, web development, testing and working within the Intelligence Community.
• Security Clearance: MUST Currently Possess an ACTIVE TS/SCI w/CI polygraph for consideration. No clearance sponsorships.
