Job Description:
The Accenture Federal Services (AFS) National Security Portfolio (NSP) is looking for Quality Assurance/Test Engineers passionate about delivery of quality code that is essential to the delivery of our secure, robust solutions. If accepted, you will be part of an elite team of enthusiasts designing, building, testing, and supporting the next generation of FinOps applications and services running across the largest U.S. Government cloud networks.
In this role, you will apply your automated testing skills to help grow our solutions and offerings, help solve interesting problems, and work with other members of our delivery and engineering teams. You will work with Full Stack Teams (FST) that use cutting edge software technologies and you will be a critical part of ensuring successful development of high profile, complex, technical deliverables. You will support application services to meet the ever-growing demand of Government customers for better Cloud FinOps.
Responsibilities include:

The items below provide a general outline of the roles a test engineer can expect working as a member of our project teams.
- Manual testing of software applications
- Create and maintain automated tests
- Participate in sprint activities (daily scrum, sprint planning, backlog grooming, etc.)
- Lead and participate in Defect Review Board (DRB) meetings with technical lead, development lead and product owner
- Provide demo of new developments at the end of every sprint cycle
- Lead and participate in testing parties and User Acceptance Test activities throughout the release cycle
Here's what you need:
- 5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance engineer.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software development, or equivalent discipline and 2 year(s) of professional experience, or associates degree in computer science, software development, or equivalent discipline and 3 years of professional experience
- 1 year of experience working with the Agile development and delivery process
- 1 year of experience with collaboration and issue tracking systems such as Confluence and JIRA
- 1 year of experience as a test automation engineer using Selenium and Java
- 0-1 year of experience with API testing, source control (Git)
- 3 years of industry experience working cloud-based solutions.
Bonus points if you have:
- Proficiency with Selenium test automation development using Cucumber-Java in a fast-paced agile environment
- Experience with Load testing using Apache JMeter
- Experience with testing on projects / programs leveraging Agile development
- Proven proficiency evaluating policies and test strategies to secure end-user and customer confidence in the quality of work product
- Certification from ASTQB (American Software Testing Qualifications Board)
- AWS Certifications (e.g., DevOps, Solutions Architect, Developer, Practitioner) or Azure equivalent
- An active security clearance

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience.As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below andinformation on benefits offered is here.
