RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for performing various testing procedures in a laboratory environment.
- Assists in projects and other assigned activities; from routine to complex – physical, chemical, or microbiological analysis on recording data on multiple samples types
- Assist in product review and testing
- Record data and ensure accuracy
- Problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Laboratory management including organization and functionality
- Other tasks under the direction of Product Development Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program as a rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in science in any related field (microbiology, chemistry, animal science, meat science, etc) OR a completed Associate’s/bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational skills, strong attention to detail, with proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Able to comprehend and grasp new tasks easily and effectively.
- Comfortable working hands-on
- Good English and grammar skills.
- Good computer skills, proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Able to communicate, receive, and understand information and ideas with diverse groups of people in a comprehensible and reasonable manner.
- Able to work upright and stationary and/or standing for typical working hours.
- Legible handwriting is a must.
- Laboratory experience preferred but not required
