Order Picker - 1ST SHIFT

Location: Bowerston, OH

Shift: 6:30am - 3pm, M-F (some weekends)

What to expect:

The primary role of a Shipper is to accurately, timely, and safely pick customer orders following company policies, processes, and procedures using PIT equipment.  This role will also have other tasks assigned based upon the current work load and the needs of the company and customer.

• Accurately, timely, and safely pick customer orders following company policies, processes, and procedures using PIT equipment
• Locate products using technology
• Keep records of completed orders
• Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions
• Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards
• Other duties as assigned
• Accurately and legibly complete various forms of shipping paperwork (i.e.: Pick Tickets, BOL’s, ID Tags, etc.…)
• Accurately use a bar code scanner and a PC on a daily basis to accurately locate items, pick items, and perform required transactions

• Use basic Shipping Department Equipment (i.e.: Stretch Wrapper, tape guns, banders, PIT equipment).
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up lift trucks.
• Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Must be able to obtain and keep a Powered Industrial Truck License.
• Must be able to follow instructions, policies, and procedures on how to pick, prepare, stage, restock, verify, and count inventory.
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as/if needed.
