Novolex is a leader in packaging innovation, choice and sustainability. We manufacture products in paper, plastic and sustainable materials for the food, retail, health and industrial markets.
This is a hybrid role (3 days in office, 2 days work from home)

How You'll Perform the Role- Assist in managing the month-end closing and preparing journal entries.
- Prepare detailed account reconciliations.
- Prepare a Quarterly review of Balance Sheet GL account balances.
- Provide analysis and review of profit & loss variances by account.
- Reports cash balances daily.
- Prepares bank reconciliations.
- Works on special projects as required.
- Maintain the integrity of the standard cost system, including manufacturing costs such as payroll, inventory accountability.
- Supervise the process of the standard cost updates and manage the year-end standard cost rollup.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
- 3-5 years' accounting experience.
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal peers and customers.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- High attention to details and high level of efficiency and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong experience and highly proficient in information technology and financial applications preferably SAP S/4 HANA or Made 2 Manage (M2M); Oracle Hyperion application; requires exceptional Excel knowledge.
- Ability to manipulate and analyze large amounts of data.
- Manufacturing experience highly desirable.
