THIS POSITION IS FOR 1st SHIFT EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Operate a fork-lift
- Conduct daily inventory of drum trailers and bulk tanks
- Conduct daily bulk liquid storage & dike inspections
- Unload pallet delivers
- Schedule junk pallet pick-ups
- Inspect and pump out rain water in dike areas
- Schedule daily dirty empty drum/pail pick-ups
- Change Tank Farm filters / bags (yearly)
- Transfer materials from tanker to bulk storage tank using our equipment or carriers equipment
- Pull samples
- Record receipts and inventory transactions in SAP
- Schedule Hazardous waste / waste water pick-ups
- Properly transfer Hazardous waste & waste water to the tanker
- Pump out hazardous waste tote/drum in building 1 satellite area
- Maintain COPS area
- Perform other departmental duties as required.
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
None
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND/OR CERTIFICATION
- High School Diploma or GED
- 40 hour Hazmat training
- Fork-lift certification (License)
- Good Oral Communication Skills applying good reasoning abilities.
- DOT/IATA Certification
- Mathematical Skills
- Computer Skills
- Physical Demands; lift 50 pounds.
- Work independently
- Work outside in adverse conditions
- SAP experience

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form using a variety of communication techniques and tools to ensure appropriate flow of information.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries, and/or complaints

- Manufacturing industry experience preferred

- Ability to work any shift hours and overtime in order to meet the needs of the business.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Employee experiences minimal interruptions and inflexible deadlines. The noise-level in this environment is moderate. Duties are performed predominantly outdoors. Out-of-town travel required as necessary for training and or to carry out duties and responsibilities.
