As an Inventory Clerk, reporting to the Fleet Manager, you will work to ensure sufficient materials are on hand for crew workloads, organization of materials, and analysis of inventory on-hand needs.

Responsibilities
- Various duties related to maintaining and managing inventory for utility construction
- Review, research and track inventory using SAP
- Coordinate with warehouse manager to manage inventory receiving, organizing, and cycle counting
- Compile and create spreadsheets in EXCEL related to the daily management of inventory
- Facilitate and effectively communicate on a daily basis with a variety of departments and managers to rectify issues that may arise during QC of installation records and parts usage
- Maintain well-organized filing and tracking system for inventory
- Other duties as requested by leadership
Education, Skills, Experience Needed
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years’ experience in inventory management
- Previous natural gas utility experience desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Office Suite: Access, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Proficiency using SAP desirable
- Organized, able to stay on task and complete heavy workload with minimal supervision
- Ability to complete a high volume of work on aggressive deadlines
Working Environment
- Work is performed in a 50% office and 50% field work at warehouse and construction sites
- Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice
- Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing
- Mobility required within an office, warehouse and construction site environments
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
Requirements
- Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
- Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
- Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
