What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Attendant position at NPX ONE?
RESPONSIBILIES/DUTIES: Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Performs all work in a safe manner and in accordance with all plant and departmental safety rules.
- Reports to Supervisor any safety hazard, near miss, safety violation or accident that may occur.
- Assists fellow employees to ensure that no one is exposed to risks of injury.
- Safely removes bags of trays from conveyor belt.
- Visually inspects bags for damaged/imperfect product and reports same to Supervisor or Distribution Coordinator.
- Completes appropriate paperwork to document scrap.
- Stacks tray bags in a prescribed manner according to tray pattern and color.
- Inspects bags to ensure that only one tracer ticket is included.
- Repairs broken or damaged bags.
- Maintains an accurate count of bags per stack.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
- Performs other duties that correlate to the foregoing as directed by Supervisor or Distribution Coordinator.
SHIFT SCHEDULE: 2nd shift position; 3:00pm - 11:00pm.
EDUCATION/SPECIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Education/Work Experience: High School Diploma or GED. At least 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Language Ability: Must have excellent communication skills
Math Ability: Proficient mathematical skills
Reasoning Ability: Ability to systematically work through problems, can work with deadlines individually or as part of a team
Computer Skills: None except Timeclock and Payroll/Benefits
Travel Requirements: None
Other (including certifications and licenses): Must have excellent attention to detail.
