Job Description
- Evaluation and reporting of negative gynecological cases, evaluation, and interpretation of abnormal gynecological, non-gynecological and fine needle aspiration cases.
- Cytotechnologists are responsible for identifying diagnostic material and referring cases to the pathologists appropriately.
- Serve as a member of the Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) team providing on site adequacy evaluation of FNA procedures.
- Provide technical advice and perform cytopreparation and processing as needed.
- Must maintain records of screening slide counts and other activities.
- Maintain Quality Control records where indicated.
- Assist in gathering data relevant to quality assurance activities, continuous improvement activities and/or other special projects.
- New Graduates are welcome!

Certificates/Educations Required
- Bachelor's degree in either Cytotechnology, Biology, or Life Sciences & successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP accredited Cytotechnology program.
- Candidate must be CT (ASCP) certified.
