A Day in the Life
The Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness of the warehouse and office common areas used by employees and ensure procedures are executed according to current NRI safety protocols.

The Must Haves:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred
- Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, sitting for long periods of time, occasionally walking, and standing, climbing ladders/stairs, and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc. when stepping into the warehouse
Things You Will be Doing
- Disinfect various areas throughout the distribution center throughout the day, and keep the building neat, clean, free from clutter, and safe.
- Pick up and remove trash, sweep, mop, vacuum, and use industrial cleaning equipment to clean multiple areas, including cleaning and stocking restrooms, beams, stairways, windows, etc.
- Assist warehouse staff with restocking packing stations, fixing corrugated pallets, and other related duties as assigned
- Report minor maintenance issues immediately to the supervisor or manager
- Continually responsible for maintaining current housekeeping procedures and practicing all safety procedures
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
