What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Assembler position at NSC Technologies, LLC?
We are looking for ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLER to Supports production operations by performing electrical wiring and product assembly in the machine build process while meeting or exceeding standards for quality, productivity, and safety.
This is a Direct Hire Position, Fulltime/Permanent Position. Monday to Friday, works between 7am to 5pm (8-hrs work day).
This position Typically works under direct supervision.
- Performs electrical wiring and product assembly; wires and connects all electrical components with the control panel
- Calibrates and tests electrical system, components, and sub-assemblies by using various electrical instruments
- Troubleshoots electrical circuits
- Uses hand tools (rachets, wrenches, drills, screw guns, screw drivers, tapping equipment) and pneumatic power tools as well as shop and assembly equipment
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical degree in Machine Tool Technology or related field preferred
- 2-3 years’ experience in a related position preferred (building/wiring circuit or panel boards)
- Understands schematics and wiring diagrams
- Must be detailed oriented
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing processes preferred
- Knowledge of basic electrical principles and basic PLC logic
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be US Citizen/Authorized to work in the US
