What are the responsibilities and job description for the Processor position at NSD NEWCO?
A Processor will handle claims for consumers. Handle claims calls from consumers as well as Insurance Companies, Lenders and Car Dealers (calling on behalf of consumers). Responsibilities include the ability to approve, deny and process claims in a claims center environment. This is not a sales position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a diary of new and pending claims.
- Handle 30-40 inbound claims calls each day.
- Verify documents for accuracy. Identify and escalate priority issues.
- Collect missing document via phone, email, or regular mail.
- Customer service skills and the ability to take ownership in assisting, researching, and resolving claims and other customer service issues.
- Update company database with information pertaining to each claim.
- Make outbound calls to insurance companies, dealers, consumers, and lenders to request required documentation for the claims file.
- Communicate decision with clients consistent with our contractual agreement.
Education and Work Experience:
Associate Degree or High School diploma with minimum 3-year customer service experience

Hours Required: Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
