NAES is looking for Operation Technicians to work in Cushing, TX! These are contract positions that would start ASAP working until the end of the year. These are full time, 1st shift positions paying $45/HR (plus per diem for non-local candidates). The per diem rate is $155 a day. Please read the below description and APPLY TODAY if interested!
JOB SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for operating units, monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of all electrical and mechanical power plant equipment; and various other duties to include project management.
Job Experience
· Previous power plant, turbine, or boiler experience is desirable
· Gas turbine, coal or biomass experience is desirable
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
· Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude - both abilities are preferred, at least one is required. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and/or mechanical equipment is required.
· 2 year technical degree in Industrial Maintenance, Instrumentation, or Electronics preferred
Behavioral Attributes
· Excellent communication and problem solving skills. Must be a team player.
· The ability to handle complex situations under pressure
· Must be a self-starter
