General Description: The HR Recruiter will assist the Human Resource Department with complex and specialized administrative tasks including researching, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization, reviewing job applications from prospective employees, managing, and overseeing records. Responsibilities: Facilitates and implement all phases of the recruitment process. Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization. Maintains accurate records of active job openings and received applications; manages internal and external job postings. Screens applications and selects qualified candidates. Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials. Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with supervisors. Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions. Assists with new hire orientation. Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations. Provides clerical support to the HR department as appropriate. Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills:Bi-lingual in Spanish and EnglishAble to demonstrate behavioral interview techniquesExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Experience and Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.At least two years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
