Bookkeeper

We are looking for a skilled accountant to play a key role in our growing team. You’ll be responsible for recording all our financial transactions including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, and posting information to accounting journals and QuickBooks. $40,000 - $50,000 yearly

• Prepare all financial statements and bank reconciliations
• Bookkeeping: Enter data, maintain records and produce financial reports
• Oversee payroll so employees are paid accurately and in a timely manner
• Properly record financial transactions
• Make sure accounts payable/accounts receivable are processed efficiently

• Execute Collection calls and correspondences, if necessary

• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and basic accounting systems
• Must have 2 or more years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a management accountant, bookkeeper, cost accountant or similar
• Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or similar field
• Must possess exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
